Q: Why isn't the Cambrian Explosion considered a falsification of Darwin's Theory of Evolution?
Answered by TJ Berens, Aerospace Defense Consultant at United States Armed Forces
"Well, mostly because it was a demonstration of natural selection, which was Darwin’s theory, and was in no way shape or form, in conflict with it. It was called an “explosion” when first discovered, but, shortly thereafter, certainly by the middle of the 1900s, it was very clear that it took place over the course of tens of millions of years, and, the Precambian, and Ediacaran, etc, before it, demonstrated the forms and ancestors of those found in the Cambrian. So, it was a very good demonstration of Darwin’s theory… and, confirmed it, yet again. Of course, if one were to have excessive confirmation bias and poor enough critical thinking skills, so as to be vulnerable to agnotological campaigns, one might then be gullible enough fall for the misinformation that there was a conflict."
My response:
The problem, though, is that linear time is only a perception and the Theory needs more than a perception of time to work.
The Theory of Special Relativity proves that space and time are not absolutes.
If it’s a relative phenomenon, it’s a perceptual phenomenon:
