Why do Masons use the Christian Bible but use Islamic symbology oñ the fez; the crescent moon and Islamic sword?
Hiram the Architect was the Architect of the Temple of Solomon. He was not a Jew (the Old Testament) but from Tyre (and so the symbols of the Sun and Moon). The images of Islam are the closest equivalent for a Jewish match; Solomon and Hiram as friends of different manifestations of belief.
Hiram, also called Huram, or Ahiram, Phoenician king of Tyre (reigned 969–936 bc),who appears in the Bible as an ally of the Israelite kings David and Solomon.”
‘Ahiram' means ‘exalted brother' Big Brother
‘Abraham' means 'exalted father'
Jesus: “And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.”
Every time we use the name ‘Abraham' we're calling a person ‘father' on earth.
