We are trained from birth by our parents and public education institutions that there is no cause for skepticism regarding what authorities such as the scientists at CERN (who have proven juvenile enough to pull stunts like mock human sacrifices which can only discredit reputations that are meant to exude uber maturity) describe to us the nature or our reality. Their explanations are convoluted enough that we find it difficult to spot incoherency. It’s there, but it takes pain-staking looking into and an excellent grasp of what is and what isn’t a logical statement. Another way that they avoid being found frauds is their manner of humiliating or dressing down those that question them. It strikes fear in all the rest of us watching the spectacle, making us too timid to try challenging these authoritarian bullies.
