It doesn't take long to prove to you that Special Relativity explains the evidence we have.

Weight on a weigh scale is measuring what?
The force of our mass.

If that mass increases its velocity, Special Relativity says the mass itself will increase.
The more an object's mass, the more force it exerts.
So, when you jump on the weigh scale, does your mass register a force that is a greater-than-your-normal-mass would register?

Let's do another demonstration.

This time we're trying to prove that as length contracts, mass increases. All you need to do to determine this is a vice and a metal spring.

As you shorten the length of the metal spring does it exert more force the more the length contracts?

The more mass an object has, the greater force it exerts.
