Me: Did you think evil was a thing and not a perception of a threat to your person?

Josh: The thing is evil either originated from humans or animals. Generally we don't ascribe evil to animals..I personally don't think humans were responsible for initiating the influence of evil. To answer your question though I'd say evil is more than a threat to my person though it definitely can be. Evil can be in the form of knowledge.. Do you agree?

Me: I'll tell you straight up. A hawk is an evil bastard from a rabbit's point of view.

Josh: Nope, God isn't evil. So, A loving God can either annihilate the rapist or give the rapist time to repent. Which action is more evil from God?

Josh: So you want a controlling God that intervenes in all facades of evil right? We can't have our cake and eat it too!!! We love love our freedom of choice but claim God is evil for giving us exactly that.. Comical you are

Josh: That's not how that works...When God does intervene, everything changes in a twinkling of an eye. By the way God intervened 2,000 years ago and the people rejected his offer of eternity which is eternal peace. What makes us any different?

Me: You're not supposed to do anything but get what you deserve. This happens naturally. Do you deserve fire torture forever for speeding or not paying your taxes? Saying the F word and you get some pitchfork treatment? The bible says perfect love casts out fear and Satan is putting fear in your head so you stay faithful.

Josh: Well thank God we have someone who understands us (God that is.) My initial post was about humans not responsible for introducing evil to the world which my conclusion is Satan and fallen angels are the culprits. Had humans introduced "evil" salvation or eternal life would just be an afterthought.. We are bombarded with evil from a higher power which is why God has given us mercy despite our shortcomings..
